New Eclipse and Netbeans IDE Tool Integration Bundles

The Eclipse Integration bundle provides ICEfaces support for developers who wish to use Eclipse v3.4 (Ganymede) for ICEfaces application development. Currently available in beta, this release provides the following new features:

  • Support for Eclipse v3.4 (Ganymede) and ICEfaces 1.7.1.
  • ICEfaces Facelets support.
  • XHTML Facelets page editor with content-assistance capabilities

The NetBeans Integration bundle provides ICEfaces support for developers who use the NetBeans IDE for ICEfaces application development. This integration is based on NetBeans 6.1. Changes in this release include:

  • Support for NetBeans 6.1 and ICEfaces 1.7.1.
  • New ICEfaces components are now available in the visual designer palette.
  • Numerous improvements and bug fixes to the NetBeans visual design integration.
