Overview
ICEfaces v3.0.0 RC2 Integration for Netbeans v7 provides ICEfaces
3.0.0 RC2 support for developers who use Netbeans v7.0.x for
ICEfaces application development. This integration extends
Netbeans' web framework and provides following extra features for
ICEfaces support.
Following features are offered in this integration for
ICEfaces support.
- Creates web project with ICEfaces capability.
- Configures required libraries and configuration file.
- Changes deployment descriptor and configures the IDE for
ICEfaces support.
- Provides ICEfaces components, Advanced components palettes and
drag&drop capabilities
- Provides usable component snippets by drag & drop ICEfaces
ace components from palette view
This integration release includes:

- org-netbeans-modules-web-frameworks-icefaces.nbm
- org-icefaces-netbeans-modules-web-frameworks-support.nbm
This document contains the following sections:
Special note
- In order to support both Mojarra 2 and MyFaces 2, ICEfaces
Integration does not include Mojarra library anymore to provide
flexibility to users who use MyFaces. This means both JavaServer
Faces and ICEfaces web frameworks have to be selected to create
ICEfaces project as shown in enclosed Guide.pdf.
- Before install these modules, You must update your NetBeans 7 installation with
the latest module versions prior to installing the ICEfaces
3.0.0 NetBeans integration
